About Me

As far as I can remember, I’ve had fascination for technology forever. It all started falling into place after I got a VIA C3 (yes, it existed) based computer of my own when I was 15. Back then, two things interested me related to computers – playing games and trying out new software. I was fascinated by software which could automate stuff and make my life easier. Soon, I became script kiddie and slowly made my way to becoming a “real” programmer.

Predictably, I chose my major Computer Engineering for my formal education. That’s when I started working on small .Net/web applications as a freelancer. After completing my college, I joined Infosys as a software engineer. Undoubtedly, I learnt a lot of things and met many great people at Infy that I couldn’t have otherwise. Eventually, I figured that freelancing will give me more freedom with my work and my ideas so, I am back to being an individual software developer.

To make things brief, here’s a little cheat sheet about me.

I am…

  • a 22 years old independent software craftsman – I am back to freelancing after tremendous learning on my job at Infosys.
  • a computer geek – Any computer buzz/recent technology, chances are I know (probably, a lot) about it.
  • a gadget freak – Love to read about gadgets, own (the most of) them and most importantly take them apart.
  • a movie buff – Ask about any of the well-known movies, I’ve most probably seen ‘em all.
  • an internet addict – It has totally transformed itself from when I started using it (for better). I try out everything it has to offer to make my life easier. Simply can’t live without it.
  • an occasional blogger – I am an aspiring writer and I try to write about things I do and things I like.

I love…

computers, smartphones, movies, learning new stuff, veggie food, adventures and treks, books, google and occasionally reading.
